oats Banana Smoothie - Banana Oatmeal Smoothie

Oats banana Smoothie is a healthy filling drink made with Oats and banana. Oats Provides high levels of fiber, low levels of fat, and high levels of protein. Oats Removes your bad cholesterol.Oats  Contains lignans which protect against heart disease and cancer.Bananas are rich in the soluble fibre pectin. thereby it assists healthy digestion. Bananas are high in antioxidants.Eating a banana can lower the body temperature and cool you during a fever or on a hot day.Now we learn to make healthy banana Oats Smoothie.

Ingredients

Oats - 1/4 cup.
water - 3/4 cup.
milk - 1/2 cup.
Yogurt - 1/2 cup.
honey/ sugar  - 1 tbsp.
banana - 1.(cut into 2 or 3)
 

Preparation

Cook oats with 3/4 of water till it is soft. it takes 3 - 4 minutes to cook.Allow it to cool completely.

Method
  • Grind cooked oats,milk, yogurt,banana  and honey into a fine puree, in a blender or Mixie. Top it with nuts of your choice.Nuts like almonds,walnuts, pecans,cashews, according to your choice. i topped it with walnuts.
  • Serve it  chilled. Healthy and yummy smoothie is ready.
