Chilli Cheese Sandwich - Cheese Chilli Sandwich Recipe

Chilli Cheese Sandwich Recipe is an Easy & Popular Sandwich Recipe, stuffed mainly  with cheese & spice Mixture . It can  be served as a breakfast or snack.It can also be served in kids birthday Parties.you can grill the sandwich or toast it on tawa.


Chilli Cheese Sandwich

Serves:6

Ingredients

Bread - 12 (brown/white/Wheat Bread/Whole Grain Bread).
Cheese - 6 slices or 1 cup Grated cheese.
Butter -  1 tsp + required for toasting.
Capsicum - 1(small).
Onion - 1(Medium).
Chilli flakes - 3/4 to 1 tsp.
Salt - As needed.
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup (Chopped)
Green chilly or Jalapeno - 1.
Oregano - 1/2 tsp(Optional)
Ginger - 1/2 inch.
Garlic - 2.

Preparation

Finely Chop the Capsicum , Onion & Coriander leaves.
Chop the Green chilly into Roundels.
Grate the Ginger & Garlic.


Method
  • Take the Mixing bowl add chopped Capsicum,Onion,Coriander leaves,Green chilly,Grated Ginger,
  • Garlic,Oregano,Chilli flakes, a tsp of butter & Salt.Give a quick Mix.

  • Take a bread apply the butter over it,keep aside.

  • Take another  bread place cheese slice, add Veggie Mixture,then cover it with buttered bread.
  • Toast it on tawa,till it turns Golden using butter or you can grill it, till it turns Golden.

  • Serve Chilli Cheese Sandwich hot.


Notes

  • I have added processed cheese slice for sandwich, instead you can cup of Grated Cheese to Veggie Mixture.
  • Adding Ginger & Garlic gives nice flavour to Sandwich.
  • Chilli flakes can be replaced with Pepper Powder also.
  • you can add 1/4 tsp of chaat Masala also.
