Potato (medium sized) - 1.
Banana peppers(bajji mirapakaya) - 1.
chilli powder - 3/4 tsp.
salt - as required
coriander powder - 1 tsp.
kasthoori methi - 1 tsp.
oil - to fry.
cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp.
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp.
Cut the potato into cubes.
Slit the banana pepppers into 2, and remove the seeds from it.Then chop into small pieces.
- Heat the oil, add cumin seeds, when it sizzles, add cubed potatoes, and turmeric, cook it covered, stir in between, when half done,add coriander powder,chilli powder, and salt, give a quick stir.
- Then add chopped banana peppers,cook it covered till banana peppers are soft and potato is completely cooked.stir in between.
- Rub kasthoori methi, against your palms, and add it, let it cook for 2 more minutes.Then remove it from the flame. it goes well with roti,chapathi and rice.
